If I do say so myself.

I considered these officially done a while ago (done less ends) and now they are finally completely officially done. A bit of irony as well that the “toasty toe socks” get finished on a snowy day (a snowy day following almost 2 weeks of melting snow).

Pattern:
A Classic Sock by Nancy Bush, found in Folk Socks.
Yarn:
Koigu KPPPM, in P611 (74)
Started Jan 10, 2010 and finished March 11, 2010. (gasp! two freaking months!!)
Size: Medium (Womens – These are for sale).
Pattern Mod: Only 1. The toe, apparently I can not count and kitchnered two different toe amounts. Not sure if that is a “mod” or an “uh- oh.” I did wide toe version #2 and really didn’t like it. FYI – ya’ll! Won’t be doing WT #2 again! (until it is specifically called for of course, maybe she knows something I don’t and on the right sock it will be BEAUtiful, maybe)

What accessory do you wear the most? This winter, mine is toddler snot. It is just so versatile!!

ok, here’s the deal
I’m sick and fucking tired of having my husband work late. His coworkers are incompetent so HE was to take up the slack. To fucking bad he can’t take up their pay check too. I’ve spent all damn day dealing with grumpy toddlers. This is supposed to be my time to get away. Happy fucking birthday to me, he didn’t get home until 7:30 that night. This sucks.

Finally! Time to knit again! (sort of)
We scratched off the last few things on our house to-do list tonight. I had to finish painting the ceiling in our bedroom today and I used the wrong paint … Who would have thought there would be that much difference between flat ceiling paint and semi-gloss interior paint. It is super obvious, so Saturday I’ll be repainting that. That’s it though! Now we just wait for the buyers!

I’ve been working on my sweater *oh so me* here and there. Nothing concentrated. When we drove out to look at houses last weekend I finished ball three and haven’t felt like digging out a new ball of yarn. It is coming along nicely though.

drumroll please ….. I started project TWO from Nancy Bush’s Folk Socks today. My whole schedule of a pair a month got terribly thrown off with the yarn shortage and looking at these socks … they are going to take longer than a month. Oh well, guess I should be knitting not typing!
