My favorite organic cotton yarn. It is the wonderful color grown stuff that I’m using for the turtles and for the baby blankets.

This is it stash monkeys. Give it up. I will not issue another warning!

ETA:

ok, false alarm. I was seriously going through every bag of yarn I own, no small task, looking for it. I thought to check the order receipt (got to love the technology the keeps this stuff for me) and *gasp* I’m out! Horrible, horrible cause this is MY FAVORITE YARN. How can I be out?!? Good, though, yes, I said good! BECAUSE *drumroll* that means I’ve made some progress. AND yes, yes I have made progress. I have two naked turtle bodies, two unstuffed turtle legs, and one beautiful baby blanket 3/4 of the way complete.

Now to order more …

I’m listening to Animal Vegtable Mineral by Barbara Kingsolver.

I want to be a real housewife. I want to make my own cheese.

two thoughts

one.

Something in your life has changed when you no longer consider a shower everyday necessary. I mean I’d really like to take a shower every day. I feel better after showering, but it just doesn’t always happen and now, I just don’t mind.

two.

socks. I’m knitting sock from Winter Holiday. 5 pairs. I started my gauge swatch last night. Think I can do it? I have 5ish months. Remember, I have twins. I also have other things to knit before then. I want to finish the turtles and bears. I also want to knit them another stuffie for our Winter Gift Day. I want to finish their blankets before them. There’s also the winter sweaters to be done … ambitious? Maybe.

Off to skip the shower and go knit.

Happy Birthday Girlies!

I have two of them.

Aren’t they the cutest?

I spoon fed them for the first time today. They have been on antibiotics for a week and I feel the need to get some good buggies in there. I’ve had issues getting the probiotics in the past, so today I mixed them with applesauce. The girls didn’t think it was too terribly aweful and now we have good flora.
